Thousands of people braved the rain as they continued anti-government protests in Tirana on Monday.
Protesters can be seen bearing umbrellas as they chanted slogans outside government buildings in the Albanian capital. Democratic Party President Lulzim Basha addressed protesters during the demonstration.
Later, protesters marched to a police building, where they hurled fireworks at police officers and began damaging barricades.
The anti-government demonstrations have been going on since February 2019, with protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama over corruption charges and failure to fulfil economic promises, and for fresh elections to take place.
Rama has reportedly rejected the resignation calls and refused to allow early elections.
