SOT, Ismail Radwan, Hamas spokesperson (Arabic): "We warn the Zionist occupation of continuing violations and crimes against the Al-Aqsa Mosque because these will create a volcano under the feet of the occupation (forces). Dozens of Palestinians rallied in central Gaza on Tuesday to protest against incursions of Israelis into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Footage shows dozens of rally-goers brandishing signs and waving flags.
"We warn the Zionist occupation of continuing violations and crimes against the Al-Aqsa Mosque because these will create a volcano under the feet of the occupation (forces)," said Hamas spokesperson Ismail Radwan.
The recent protest was sparked after hundreds of Israelis protected by the Israeli police reportedly stormed the Mosque last week and performed Talmudic rituals there.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque, located in the Old Town of Jerusalem, is considered one of the holiest sites in Islam.
