Today there will be 24 releases. For us it is not enough. Our commitment is to continue to press, continue to demand the freedom of all prisoners deprived of political prisoners."

The Prosecutor General of Venezuela Tarek William Saab announced the release of 24 Venezuelan opposition activists, after meeting with members of the National Dialogue Table in Caracas on Thursday.
The release comes as part of the national dialogue pact between the government and the opposition to seek a political settlement to the Venezuelan crisis.
"The commission examined a number of criminal cases and passed the resolution to the Venezuelan justice authorities on the release of 24 Venezuelan citizens who will be freed today while this press conference is ongoing," he said.
