Reporters gathered outside the Wiltshire and Swindon coroner's Court in Salisbury, as the inquest into the death of Dawn Sturgess, 44, who was allegedly poisoned by the 'Novichok' nerve agent earlier this month, commenced on Thursday.
The inquest has now been postponed until January next year.
Investigations are looking into the alleged 'Novichok' poisoning of Dawn Sturgess, who died on July 8 and Charlie Rowley, who regained consciousness on July 10.
The couple were taken to Salisbury hospital after being found unconscious and in a critical condition at an address on Muggleton Road in Amesbury on 30 June.
Amesbury is a short distance from the UK chemical weapons laboratory Porton Down and the site where Sergei and Yulia Skripal collapsed after being allegedly poisoned by a nerve agent in March.
