Turkey: UN convoy carrying 40 tons of aid remains stuck at Syrian border

Some forty trucks carrying UN aid were reportedly still waiting at Turkey’s Cilvegozu border into Syria, Saturday, as they attempt to make their way to the conflict-stricken city of Aleppo to deliver humanitarian assistance.
The trucks have remained at the border point for several days with the Syrian government so far unable to grant safe passage, with opposition militias still reportedly firing on Syrian Arab Army positions along the supply routes.
