Kenya: Tear gas used as hundreds decry electoral body in Nairobi

Hundreds of protesters marched outside the office of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in Nairobi, Monday, calling for its employees to step down. Security forces fired tear gas and used water cannon against the demonstrators who responded throwing stones and other items towards them.
The protesters, supported by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD), have been demonstrating against the current formation of the commission, ahead of the 2017 elections.
This is the second round of protests with clashes also occurring on April 25.
