A building housing foreign workers was destroyed by fire in the German town of Gudensberg, late on Monday. According to emergency services at least twelve people were injured in the fire, five seriously. The 200-year-old house was used to house Polish and Bulgarian workers. Those hurt are being treated in hospital for burns and injuries sustained when the building collapsed. Police have yet to confirm the cause of the fire. Several buildings sheltering refugees fleeing the Middle East have been set alight in Germany in recent weeks.
