College Shooting Suspect Captured Sleeping on Beach

Police said, a former student being hunted over the shooting death of a community college's staff member in North Carolina was found asleep on a beach 500 miles away early Tuesday. Kenneth Morgan Stancil III was the suspect at the center of an hours-long manhunt and lockdown at Wayne Community College on Monday , after he allegedly shot dead print shop technician Ron Lane. The statement said, officers from the Volusia County Beach Patrol initially approached Stancil for violating the city's ban on sleeping on the beach but took him in for further identification because he was carrying a knife.
