Protesters fought running battles with police in Santiago on Wednesday, as the unrest gripping the country entered its second month.
Water cannon and tear gas would used to disperse the crowd, who responded with a range of projectiles.
The current wave of unrest, considered to be the largest in decades, was triggered in October by the now-suspended metro fare hike.
