Russian heavy machinery manufacturers Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) displayed a range of their latest advanced military hardware at the International Military-Technical Forum 'Army-2015', in the Patriot military amusement park on the outskirts of Moscow, Wednesday. Uralvagonzavod unveiled a range of new and updated military equipment at their display, including a modernised version of the BTR-80 APC, the latest version of the T-72BZ tank, the all new AU-220M artillery piece and an export version of the T-90S tank, as well as the BMPT-72 'Terminator 2' fire support combat vehicle. The Army-2015 expo is organised by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and runs from June 16 to 19. The forum is a platform for interaction between defence industries and military authorities to facilitate innovative research and development in military technologies and equipment.
