USA: Trump disappointed after DC rally fails to match Martin Luther King’s ‘March on Washington’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a rally alongside the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle parade in Washington DC, Sunday.
The New York billionaire seemed disappointed that his rally didn’t live up to previous events in the US capital, stating “I though this will be like Dr. Martin Luther King where the people would be lined up from here all the way to the Washington Monument,” in reference to Dr. King’s ‘March on Washington,’ one of largest political demonstrations for human rights in US history. Trump explained the discrepancy by blaming the authorities for not allowing more people to attend his rally.
Commenting on his opponents from the Democratic Party, Trump said that "Hillary can't even beat Bernie can't beat him, and beating Bernie would not be tough."
Trump did stress that he agreed with Sanders on one point that "our country is being ripped off, so badly on trade,” promising his supporters that they were going "to make the greatest trade deals you've ever seen."
The Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally is an event observed annually on Memorial Day Weekend; it is billed as a tribute to US military veterans, prisoners of war and Americans missing or killed in action.
