Хиляди студенти и учители протестират в Италия против реформата на Ренци

Thousands of Italian teachers and students gathered in Rome, Tuesday, to protest against the 'Good Schools' education reforms planned by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi's government. The school system reforms are part of the prime minister's programme to reshuffle the country's economy. Although Renzi promised to hire 100,000 teachers on permanent contracts, as well as offering wage raises based on merit rather than age, and decreasing the amount of part-time workers, the protesters consider the reforms unfair. According to teachers and students the changes are mostly benefitting private schools, while state schools face underfunding.
