USA: NY subway swamped by floods after water main bursts

Huge floods swamped the Fourteenth Street subway station in New York's Greenwich Village on Thursday after a water main break burst. The cause of the broken water main is unclear, but the incident resulted in a downpour of water that disrupted the 1, 2 and 3 trains which have since been diverted. Around 500 had to be evacuated from the subway, while the Fire Department, DEP emergency crews and Con Ed Gas remained at the scene. Footage courtesy of Jennifer Bostic
