SOT, Ernesto Valverde, FC Barcelona manager (Spanish): "I expect a great atmosphere tomorrow as there always is in this stadium, and also a great opponent that just won the German Super Cup, [an opponent] who is also a candidate to win the Bundesliga, and it is also very eager to start this tournament. And of course it will be a very difficult game for us. It is the main dish for a starter game and a great opportunity for us to test ourselves."

SOT, Marc Andre Ter Stegen, FC Barcelona goalkeeper (German): "Football is happiness but also passion and disappointment. But regarding what I said it is a feeling that I have and there is not much to say about it. I have my expectations and in the last years I have behaved and what Neuer and other people said I think it wasn’t fair. I would like to end with this issue."

FC Barcelona manager Ernest Valverde confirmed that the star of the squad, Lionel Messi, returned to full training with his teammates, but that he will still decide whether to feature him in the squad against Borussia Dortmund in Tuesday's Champions League clash. Valverde spoke at a pre-match press conference in Dortmund on Monday.
"We will decide tomorrow if Messi plays. It is true that one week ago it wasn't very clear if he was going to make it for this game, but he completed the last training sessions with the team," he said.
The Barcelona coach also said he expects a great atmosphere at the Signal Iduna Park. "Of course it will be a very difficult game for us. It is the main dish for a starter game and a great opportunity for us to test ourselves," he added.
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen said that there was no additional pressure apart from the usual one when it comes to playing in Europe's elite football tournament. "There is always a very high level and we always try to win on the pitch, and we don't try to forget what happened last year, but to learn from those mistakes," said Ter Stegen.
Borussia Dortmund is set to face Barcelona at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund on Tuesday. Kick off is set at 19:00 GMT.
