Axl Rose Is Mad About Mayweather/Pacquiao, Demands 'Free-Match'

Were you disappointed by the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight? Axl Rose feels your pain. And he's determined to use his fame – or at least his Twitter account – to do something about it. On Monday, the Guns N' Roses frontman launched into a lengthy (and well-cataloged) rant about the much-hyped bout, jabbing at Floyd Mayweather's winning strategy – essentially, lots of holding – Manny Pacquiao's supposed shoulder injury (which wasn't revealed until the post-fight press conference) and the $100 pay-per-view price tag that accompanied the proceedings. In a series of tweets, Rose called on all parties involved – not just the fighters, but the promoters and producers HBO and Showtime – to schedule a rematch, and demanded that the sequel be shown for free.
