Six Baltimore Officers Charged in Freddie Gray Homicide

The top prosecutor in Baltimore on Friday called Freddie Gray's death in police custody last week a "homicide," and said her office had probable cause to file criminal charges against six police officers involved.
Marilyn J. Mosby, Baltimore's chief prosecutor who has been on the job less than four months, made the announcement to an assembled crowd across from Baltimore's City Hall.
Cheers broke out when she announced that criminal charges would be filed.
