Thousands of protesters demonstrating against the Lebanese government and country's ongoing economic crisis flooded the streets of Beirut on Sunday for the fourth straight day.
Drone footage shows huge crowds of protesters gathered outside the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque in the center of the Lebanese capital.
The wave of protests broke out on Thursday, after Prime Minister Saad Hariri's announced new tax proposals. The move triggered calls for the government's resignations among citizens at home and abroad.
Hariri's has set his coalition partners a deadline until Monday to agree on an economic reform package to assuage the crisis. The PM has reportedly suggested he may resign if an agreement is not reached.
