Ingrid Sischy, Longtime Editor of Interview Magazine, Dies Aged 63

Ingrid Sischy, former editor-in-chief of Interview magazine and a well-known art, fashion and culture writer, died Friday at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from breast cancer. She was 63.
The fashion and art worlds have been expressing their grief over the loss with an outpouring of love online.
Graydon Carter, editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, wrote a piece titled Ingrid Sischy: An Appreciation, explaining who he knew her to be.
He wrote, “There were so many aspects of her character to admire, but I found her saucy, cheerful stoicism to be highly attractive."
