Military Emergency Unit (UME) personnel rescued a baby trapped by flooding in the town of Almoradi in Alicante on Saturday.
The torrential rains that hit southeastern Spain on Monday killed six people, forced at least 3,500 leave their homes and caused severe damage.
According to reports, the Spanish government made its largest military deployment for a rescue operation involving more than a thousand military units.
Heavy rains affected airports, roads and railway lines. The regions of Andalusia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands, Castilla-La Mancha and have declared an emergency.
