Tripoli’s Mitiga airport was forced to ground all flights for nearly three hours after a missile hit its car park on Saturday.
Footage shows cars with shattered windows and riddled with holes, as well as a large number of people waiting at the airport.
The airport said the incident coincided with the arrivals of two planes. No one was reported to have been killed or injured in the attack.
Mitiga airport was targeted before in the fighting between the UN-recognised Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Libyan National Army (LNA) of General Khalifa Haftar.
