Germany's vice-chancellor Sigmar Gabriel says that European nations are losing patience with Greece.
Writing in in Bild magazine, Mr Gabriel said Germany wanted to keep Greece in the eurozone. However, he said that "not only is time running out, but so too is patience across Europe."
The comments come as talks between Greece and its creditors continue.
His article can be seen as a warning, particularly as his party has been more sympathetic to Greece in the past. Gabriel wrote that everywhere in Europe, the sentiment is growing that "enough is enough."
Cash-strapped Greece is trying to reach a deal that will unlock bailout funds. The country is seeking to avoid defaulting on a €1.5bn debt repayment to the IMF.
