South Africa to Release Marikana Massacre Probe

President Jacob Zuma told parliament on Tuesday South Africa's government will release the findings of an inquiry into the 2012 deaths of 34 striking miners shot by police before the end of June, The victims' families, unions and opposition parties have been calling for the release of the probe, set up by Zuma to investigate the events that led to the killing of the miners at Lonmin's Marikana platinum mine in August. The commission also had a broader remit to look into labor relations, pay and accommodation in South Africa's mines.
