Holy See: Pope Francis meets Apple CEO Tim Cook

Apple CEO Tim Cook and other Apple officials met Pope Francis in Vatican City on Friday morning. After holding talks, both men exchanged gifts in a gesture of good will.
Pope Francis recently met with Eric Schmidt, chairman of Alphabet - an Apple rival.
Tim Cook joined Apple in March 1998 and was named CEO on August 24, 2011, when he succeeded Steve Jobs. He had previously served as acting CEO of Apple after Jobs began medical leave in January 2011. In 2014, Cook became the first CEO of a Fortune 500 company to publicly identify as gay.
