USA: Woman punched by police in face for alleged seatbelt violation

Cindy Hahn, a 40-year-old citizen, is suing the police after get punched in the face while being arrested for an alleged seatbelt violation in Carlsbad, California, it was revealed on Monday. The incident took place on July 31, 2013, in front of her 7-year-old and 11-year-old children. The incident reportedly took place after Hahn, the daughter of a police officer, asked officers why the were not dealing with a car alarm, to which she claims Officer Kenyatte Valentine responded aggressively and with expletives. She then proceeded to log a complaint about Valentine. As she drove away, the officer pulled her over and pinned her to the ground, repeatedly punching her in the face. She was diagnosed with concussion following the assault.
