Lakers Start First Asian-American Backcourt in NBA History

The Los Angeles Lakers game on Tuesday night was, in most ways, typical of what's been a rough season for one of the NBA' s most storied franchises. They lost by 10 on the road to the injury-depleted Oklahoma City Thunder, bringing their record on the year to an atrocious 18-51. But the game also included a neat bit of basketball history as the Lakers trotted out the first Asian-American starting backcourt the NBA has ever seen. Los Angeles started Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson at the guard spots.
