Kerry: Iran Nuclear Talks Take a Break After 'Lot of Progress'

Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday he will take a break from this week's "intensive" nuclear talks with Iran to discuss progress towards a deal with European allies. Outside a restaurant in Lausanne, Switzerland, he told reporters , "We made a lot of progress." State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said Kerry would meet his German, British and French counterparts in Europe on Saturday before flying to Washington. She explained, "We've had a series of intensive discussions with Iran this week, and given where we are in the negotiations, it's an important time for high-level consultations with our partners in these talks. Harf added that talks would resume in Switzerland next week.
