Dozens of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati luxury cars awaited their last rites at a luxury car graveyard in Sacramento, Thursday. The supply company FerrParts owns what is believed to be the world’s largest collection of damaged exotic cars. Parts from the vehicles are sold on the secondhand market, with more than 250 cars currently lying either dismantled or about to be.
The owner of the luxury scrap yard, Russell Putnam, explained that the company might have around “15 million dollars of parts in inventory” and said that they have paid millions of dollars for the burnt and crashed high-range cars.
As Putnam explained, the scrapyard of the company, which also brings cars back to life and distributes new pieces, has brought some car-fanatic customers to tears and sickness after they saw their vehicles at the end of their life.
