Several hundred migrants and refugees waited for buses and police vans near Bapska village on Monday, after crossing the Serbian-Croatian border. Due to Hungary's closure of its border with Croatia, and slow transit towards Slovenia, it is taking increasingly longer for refugees to make the journey from Serbia into Croatia and continue their trip onwards to Western Europe. The migrants and refugees complained of cold and illness while waiting for transport to take them onwards to Opatovac camp in Croatia, from where they will attempt to continue on towards the Slovenian border.
