Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump stated that his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton was "the voice for global special interest," before adding that he was "running to be the voice of the forgotten men and women of this country," while speaking at a campaign rally in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday.
Trump slammed Hillary Clinton, stating that "there's a reason the Wall Street donors are giving tens of millions of dollars to my opponent," adding that Hillary Clinton "likes to say that for decades she's been fighting for women, that she's been fighting for children. Why then are 70 million American women and children living in poverty or on the brink of poverty in our country?"
Speaking on his economic agenda, Trump said it can be "summed up in some very, very powerful words: Jobs, jobs, jobs."
The Republican presidential nominee also suggested that according to a recent Rasmussen poll, he was leading "five points nationwide."
