SOT, Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari Design Director: "The name explains very well the philosophy of the car, which is inspired to the 'Dolce Vita' style. So, we wanted to come back to the beauty of our cars, the Ferrari GT's of that era, that also dictated the concept of luxury and beauty of the Italian design, but in a very modern way. In a very modern way, it is a kind of understated product, very elegant, sophisticated and also very powerful. Because it is full of power when needed, we are talking about 620 horsepower and acceleration and a fun to drive which is at the top of the category."

Italian carmaker Ferrari unveiled their newest 'Ferrari Roma' model, which pays tribute to the elegance and heritage of the Italian capital's 'Dolce Vita' style, during a presentation on Thursday in Rome.
"The name explains very well the philosophy of the car, which is inspired to the 'Dolce Vita' style. So, we wanted to come back to the beauty of our cars, the Ferrari GT's of that era, that also dictated the concept of luxury and beauty of the Italian design," said Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni. "In a very modern way, it is a kind of understated product, very elegant, sophisticated and also very powerful. Because it is full of power when needed, we are talking about 620 horsepower and acceleration and a fun to drive which is at the top of the category."
The turbocharged V-8 car's look drew inspiration from the Roman 50s and 60s style, especially the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, while it is fully equipped with modern technology such as touch screens, a passenger screen and a redesigned Human Machine Interface (HMI).
"The cost of the car is going to be just little above €200,000 ($219,963), Italian price including VAT, and this car is going to be perfect for whoever wants to enjoy Ferrari performance but also with the comfort of a 2 plus car," said Ferrari Global Marketing Direct Emanuele Carando.
