Robinhood Trading App Will Let You Be the Wolf of Wall Street

Aussies could be flipping stocks on their smartphones as easily as they check Instagram, after the stock-trading app, Robinhood, launches Down Under. The app was founded by American math whizzes Vlad Tenev and Baiju Bhatt. The company said in a statement it is beginning the process of obtaining regulatory approval locally. If Robinhood launches successfully, Australians will be able to buy U.S. listed stocks and exchange-traded funds without being charged commission per trade.
