Hundreds of Kurdish people and pro-Kurdish activists marched through the streets of Frankfurt, Saturday, to show their support for the victims of the Ankara bombing that occurred earlier in the day. Protesters held pictures of the victims of the Ankara attack and signs condemning the Turkish government and many waved PKK and HDP flags during the rally. There was a large police presence at the march and no clashes were reported. At least 86 people were killed and more than 180 left injured after two explosions rocked Ankara on Saturday morning. The blasts rocked the area near Ankara Central railway station, Turkey's busiest train hub. The bombs targeted the venue of the 'Labour, Peace, Democracy' rally, which was scheduled to begin at 10:00 local time (0700 GMT). The rally was planned by Turkey's biggest trade union in protest against the Turkish government's policy towards the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
