Turkey: Putin meets Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in Antalya on Monday where they shook hands and posed for the press following talks. The two leaders came together for bilateral discussions on the sidelines of the G20 leaders' summit, which is underway in the Turkish city. Syria is believed to have topped the agenda of Monday’s closed-door meeting between Putin and the Saudi king. The two are also likely to have discussed major bilateral issues such as the price of oil. Monday's was the first meeting between the Saudi monarch and Putin, following the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in January of this year.
