Hundreds of Ukrainian nationalists gathered in Saint Michael's Square in Kiev, Wednesday, to take part in the annual "March for Heroes". The marchers carried large banners with pictures of Ukrainian nationalist activist and alleged 'Nazi collaborator' Stepan Bandera and marched from St Michael's Square to the Lukyanovka jail to support detained nationalists. The march was also dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), known for its alleged massacres of Poles and Jews during its Nazi collaboration era.
