Russia: Hundreds of thousands watch Victory Day parade in Moscow

Hundreds of thousands of civilians took to the streets of Moscow on Saturday to watch the parade for the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany. Some people gathered on places like Arbat Square to watch the parade in live transmission, but most of them lined the streets to see the soldiers and armoured columns pass. According to organisers, at least 350,000 took part in the Immortal Regiment march, to pay tribute to those killed in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
