Two protesters were arrested as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump rallied supporters in Long Island, in his home state of New York, Wednesday, ahead of the state primary on April 19.
Speaking at the Grumman Studios in Bethpage, Trump cast doubts over Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton winning the Democratic nomination, suggesting that she may face charges over her email scandal. "I don't know that it's going to be Hillary. Maybe, maybe something's going to happen, maybe she's not going to be allowed to run. Maybe she'll be defeated, I don't know what's going on. But with the email scandal maybe something's going to happen," stated Trump.
According to local authorities over 10,000 people attended the campaign rally, which was Trump's first stop in his home state of New York. The latest polls put Trump leading in New York with 52 percent of the vote, with fellow Republican rival John Kasich trailing with 25 percent and Ted Cruz forecasted to come in third with 17 percent of the vote.
