Amazon Working On Delivery App
6
17.06.2015
The growing market for app-powered delivery service may be about to get some competition from one of the big guys: Amazon.
Much like services such as TaskRabbit and Postmates, users would be able to open an app and connect with individual people ready to deliver their package.
A source says the app would be called On My Way.
Adding to the power of such a potential service is the fact that Amazon already has pick-up and drop off lockers at many 7-Eleven convenience stores. The lockers aren't directly mentioned in the report as a part of the On My Way app system, but the lockers would give delivery workers an easy, physical way station between Amazon's ecommerce inventory and consumers looking for doorstep delivery service.
