Russia: Aviamechanica engineers present high-tech engines for light aviation

Engineers from Krasnoyarsk's Aviamechanica Company presented one of their latest technological developments from Krasnoyarsk on Wednesday - high-tech engines constructed for unmanned aircrafts and light aviation vehicles.
The 28 horse power engines "are from two to ten times cheaper than their foreign equivalent," Aviamechanica CEO Egor Krylov said.
He added that "the most unique feature is that we can make a product customised for a particular machine. We are able to comply with all technical requirements which have been determined by a customer."
The inventors have already developed five different models of engines with different power capacity. The approximate cost of an engine varies from €1,000 ($1128) to €12,500 ($14,100).
