Netherlands: Massive floating hotel prepares for Amsterdam-London voyage

A floating hotel that once was used as a prison is scheduled to be towed from Amsterdam to the River Thames in London.
Footage filmed on Friday shows the 144-room 'Good Hotel' moored at the Amsterdam docks, waiting to be towed to the Royal Docks in London.
According to the Good Hotel CEO Marten Dresen, the hotel weighs eight million kilos (17.6 million pounds). Dresen was excited about the upcoming tow-operation, saying "the Good Hotel comes from Amsterdam, but it's a model we want to show to the world," adding "London is now, who knows what's going to be next."
