Russian Defence Ministry spokesperson Major-General Igor Konashenkov announced in Moscow on Sunday that the Russian Air Force has "carried out over 20 flights" and "hit 10 ISIL targets" near two Syrian villages in Idlib Governorate, Sunday. The flights were conducted by the Russian tactical Su-24M, Su-25 and Su-34 bombers. According to Konashenkov, among the destroyed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) targets were "terrorist training camps," "shelters" and "military supply depots with ammunition and material stocks" as well as a "workshop for the production of self-made explosive devices including suicide bomber's belts." Five armored personnel carriers "were also destroyed," he added.
