0 16.02.2016 Инфо

Bolivian President Evo Morales inaugurated a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Rio Grande on Monday.
The LNG plant will generate 210 metric tonnes of LNG to supply gas for domestic and industrial use across 27 states in the country. The distribution is conducted through a pipeline system with special tankers. At least €397 million ($445 million) has been invested in the project.
The Rio Grande plant was built by a Spanish consortium alongside the state-owned Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) oil and gas company. It aims to produce enough LNG for around 600,000 people across Bolivia. Morales also highlighted that the facility will serve Peru and Paraguay among other neighbouring countries.
