NASA's Europa Probe May Find Out If Jupiter's Moon Could Support Life

Europa, NASA's coming for you. NASA hopes to launch a probe to Jupiter's icy moon Europa in the 2020s, and now, the space agency has chosen the scientific instruments that will fly to the world on the spacecraft. The nine instruments include a camera, heat detector and a mapping system. The whole mission is designed to answer one fundamental question for NASA: Is Europa habitable?
"Europa is one of those critical areas where we believe that the environment is just perfect for potential development of life," Jim Green, NASA director of Planetary Science, said during a press conference Tuesday.
