NASA Chief: House Budget Aims to Derail Climate Research

A two-year NASA authorization bill that a House committee approved on Thursday would cut more than $300 million from the agency’s Earth science programs, and people are not happy about it.
Everyone from NASA administrator Charles Bolden to President Obama's science advisor are lining up to slam Republican-sponsored cuts contained in the bill, which was approved by the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee along party lines.
