Former Arkansas Governor and Fox News Host Mike Huckabee Launches Presidential Campaign

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has announced he will run for the Republican presidential nomination, eight years after his first efforts to expand on the support of evangelical Christians helped him win eight states in the 2008 primaries. Speaking from a podium in Hope, Arkansas, a city where the media magnate said he found Jesus, met his wife and got his first job, Huckabee told an assembled group of supporters, "It would be perfectly fitting that I would announce here that I am a candidate for president of the United States of America."
