Protesters clashed with police in Stuttgart on Saturday, as hundreds of people marched through the city centre in opposition to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in light of the Ankara bombings that happened earlier in the day. Several arrests were made. Almost 100 people have reportedly been killed after twin explosions hit Ankara on Saturday. The blasts rocked the area near Ankara Central railway station, Turkey's busiest train hub. The attack, believed to be a suicide bomber, hit the venue of the 'Labour, Peace, Democracy' rally, which was scheduled to begin at 10:00 local time (0700 GMT). The rally was planned by Turkey's biggest trade union in protest against the Turkish government's policy towards the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) .
