France: Blindfolded Muslim man hugs mourners in Paris

A blindfolded Muslim man standing with his arms wide open on Republic Square in Paris offered to hug mourners of Friday's attacks in Paris, in the French capital on Monday evening. People gathered round and took photos, as person after person went up to hug the man. A placard beneath his feet read "I trust you, do you trust me? So hug me!" Earlier this year, a blindfolded Muslim man performed a similar action, standing on the streets of downtown Toronto holding a placard reading "I trust you. Do you trust me? Give me a hug." At least 129 people were killed and more than 352 injured, 99 critically, after a series of coordinated attacks were carried out at six different locations across Paris on Friday evening.
