Chris Brown’s Probation From 2009 Rihanna Assault Case Comes to an End

Chris Brown is off probation. On March 20th a judge ended Brown’s probation and closed his assault case filed over his 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna . Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin determined that Brown, 25, completed all of his required community service hours, and declared the felony case closed. This now means it’s the first time since mid-2009 that Brown will no longer be under the courts supervision or that of probation officials. It’s been six years since his brutal assault on Rihanna just hours before the Grammy’s in a rented Lamborghini, and his former squeaky clean image has been all but tarnished.
