SOT, Khaled al-Batsh, Senior official in Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) (Arabic): "Of course, we do not agree with the results of the Bahrain conference and consider this to be an application of Likud policy. Economic peace, but this time in a new American English so we warn against the outcome of the conference and call for its boycott."

SOT, Ismail Haniyeh, Chairman of Hamas Political Bureau (Arabic): "We are not against lifting the siege on Gaza and West Bank, not against providing assistance to our Palestinian people, and not against ending this suffering caused by the Israeli occupation, but this money must be unconditional, not at the expense of the Palestinian cause, nor at the expense of Jerusalem and releasing prisoners and the weapon of resistance."

SOT, Jamil Mezher, Senior official in Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (Arabic): "The Palestinian people are united today to reject the deal of the century and to reject the Bahrain conference and the results of the Bahrain conference. It is emphasised that the Palestinian people will continue to struggle in all forms, to bring down the Deal of the Century and to destroy this conspiracy. We say that the Palestinian people have overcome the previous conspiracies and and the resettled refugees will succeed in bringing down the disgraced deal and the Bahrain conference."

Protesters flooded the streets of Gaza City on Wednesday to condemn the 'Peace to Prosperity' workshop taking place in the Bahraini capital of Manama.
Protesters carried banners, flags and placards as they marched from United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) buildings to the UN offices in Gaza City.
"We do not agree with the results of the Bahrain conference and consider this to be an application of Likud policy," said Khaled al-Batsh, a senior official in Islamic Jihad Movement referring to policies propagated by the party of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Other high-profile figures such as Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh joined the protesters in the rally.
"This money must be unconditional, not at the expense of the Palestinian cause, nor at the expense of Jerusalem and releasing prisoners and the weapon of resistance," said Haniyeh, echoing calls by Palestinian officials to give precedence to Palestine’s politics over its economic issues.
The brain child of US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner, the US-Bahrain Manama workshop is set to conclude on Wednesday and is reportedly a part of Trump’s 'Deal of the Century' on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The workshop was boycotted by Palestinians.
