Russia: FSB kill suspected ISIS fighters in counter-terror op

Two suspected terrorists who are believed to have sworn their allegiance to Islamic State (IS, ISIS) were killed in Dagestan on Friday during a counter-terrorism operation led by the Federal Security Service (FSB) and Internal Affairs Ministry. Footage shows FSB operatives, BTR APCs and explosions. The two ISIS followers were caught in the Karabudakhetsky region of Dagestan, where they reportedly opened fire with grenade launchers and machine guns, before being killed. The two suspects have been identified as Arsanali Kambulato, the head of a sector of a group called Makhackala that organised at least two terrorist attacks in 2013, and Mugutdin Mazanov who was linked to a number of armed attacks on members of the armed forces and police.
