USA: Voters hit New Mexico ballot boxes for US elections

New Mexico residents arrived at a polling station in the city of Albuquerque on Tuesday to cast their vote in the 2016 US presidential elections. The state carries five electoral votes and has voted equally for both major US political parties in the last 10 elections.
More than 120 million Americans are expected to cast their ballot for the 45th US president in the 2016 election.
Timings vary for each state: voting got underway in earnest on the East Coast from 11:00 GMT, and will close between midnight and 01:00 GMT on November 9. The earliest possible time the result could be made known is Wednesday at 04:00 GMT.
Later on Tuesday, Clinton is due to hold an election night event in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre, while Trump will hold an election night gathering at the New York Hilton Midtown.
